Color pencils and finally sketch pens.

And returned to classrooms drenched in sweat.

Playgrounds under the trees n even in the cycle sheds.

When all the colors in the world ,
Decorated the campus on second Saturdays .

When a single P.T. period in the weeks timetable,
Was awaited more eagerly than the monsoons.

And neckties and socks rolled into balls .

While others simply played book cricket in the confines of the class room.
Gone are the days
Of fights but no conspiracies,
Of competitions but seldom jealousy.

In the opposite house in intervals n lunch breaks .

So much experience , all this n more .
Gone are the days
But not the memories , which will be
Lingering in our hearts for ever n ever n ever n
Ever n ever n ever ………
